For growers
Cefetra Farming Programme
- The Cefetra Farming Programme is designed to empower farmers in sequestering CO2 in a credible manner, thereby enabling downstream supply chain parties to make reliable and verifiable claims
- We offer growers a platform of incentives to reward nature-positive activities. Current payments are tied to CO2 reductions and removals in farming activities to allow certification. We aim to encourage wider impacts and expect to provide payments in the future for other nature-positive contributions like water and biodiversity.
- We recognize that nobody knows your farm better than you the farmer. The scope of conservation agriculture is broad and there is no one-fit-all solution. For that reason, our program is designed to be flexible, with no prescribed practices.
- The program is offered in partnership with Soil Capital, a leading agronomy-led entity that certifies improvements in farming practices.
- The farming programme is initially available in the UK and Ireland and will soon be available for enrolment for 2024 crop.
